Complaint decisions
Serious complaints against real estate agents are considered by a Complaints Assessment Committee (CAC). You can search for published CAC decisions, Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Tribunal decisions and some High Court appeals.
Complaint decisions are published
Complaints Assessment Committee and Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Tribunal decisions are published in our Decisions Database and on the Public Register of licensees.
Decisions are published after a 20-working day appeal period and remain on the public register for 3 years.
Tribunal decisions are also published on the Ministry of Justice Te Tāhu o te Ture Tribunal website.
Compliance statistics
We report monthly on complaint and appeal outcomes that have gone through the early resolution and CAC process.
